This policy does not promise rights beyond those provided by applicable law.

Information we collect

Depending on your interaction with us, we may collect your name, business name, email, phone number, mailing or service address, inquiry details, project and service records, support communications, and information you submit. FieldDocs may process employee and contractor profiles, assignments, schedules, time entries, project photos, visit reports, signatures, mobile numbers, SMS preferences, and notification history. Our website may process technical information such as IP address, device/browser details, and page interactions through hosting and analytics services.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, provide and improve services, manage projects and personnel, maintain security, send requested operational communications, comply with legal obligations, and administer our business. FieldDocs SMS alerts are operational, not promotional, and require separate affirmative consent.

Service providers and disclosures

We may disclose information to service providers performing hosting, analytics, email, messaging, infrastructure, or other business functions under appropriate restrictions; to professional advisers; where required by law; and as necessary to protect rights and security. We do not sell personal information or use FieldDocs SMS consent for advertising. We do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging providers may receive information needed to deliver texts.

SMS consent and choices

Authorized FieldDocs users may separately opt in to operational texts. Consent is optional and not a condition of employment, contracting, or use of FieldDocs. We retain consent and opt-out records as reasonably necessary for compliance.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses hosting technology and may use analytics to understand site usage. Browser settings may allow you to limit cookies or other storage. We will update this section if additional advertising, tracking, or consent technologies are introduced.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information involved; no system is completely secure. We retain information as needed for the purposes described, contractual obligations, legal requirements, dispute resolution, and security, then delete or de-identify it where practicable. Retention periods vary by record type.

You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information, subject to verification, legal exceptions, and applicable rights. Where New Jersey or other privacy laws apply to a particular request, we will honor the applicable statutory rights and timelines. The New Jersey Data Privacy Law applies only to covered controllers and generally excludes employment-context data; this policy does not imply GateTek is subject to that law in all circumstances.

Children and third-party services

Our services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly solicit their personal information through this website. Third-party sites and services have their own privacy practices.

Data incidents and updates

We assess suspected security incidents and provide notifications when required by applicable law, including New Jersey law where applicable. We may revise this policy and will update the effective date on this page.
